3D printed resin, 19 x 25 cmA contemporary translation of an early 1900s antique cameo necklace.
The pendant was scanned, enlarged, and 3D printed, shifting from personal ornament to architectural relic. Through this change of scale and medium, the work reflects on the digital afterlives of sacred objects: how devotional forms can be displaced, re-inscribed and re-encountered through technological reproduction.
